Description
The True Precision S Micro is a small, round compensator built to fit any 9mm or .380 pistol with a 1/2×28 threaded barrel, rather than one slide shape. True Precision’s Tension Lock O-Ring system lets it install hand tight and hold its timing without set screws, shims, or a crush washer; a retailer listing notes medium strength thread locker is optional if you want it semi-permanent. A threaded barrel is required. It works with the threaded barrels we carry for the Glock 17, 19, 26, 43, 43X, and 48, the SIG P365 and P320, the Springfield Hellcat, the Ruger RXM, the S&W Shield, and the CZ P-10 C, since all of those are 1/2×28.
True Precision machines it in the USA from USA-sourced 416R stainless steel and finishes it in black DLC. True Precision describes the design as advanced cut ports with a tapered front crown; Wing Tactical lists it as three slotted ports. It ships with the comp and the tension lock O-ring. True Precision gives no spring weight and states its warranty does not cover use with ammunition that is not SAAMI standard; retailer listings note a comp may require adjustments to lubrication, ammunition, or recoil spring. True Precision also says it cannot guarantee fit in every firearm because of manufacturing tolerances and recommends installation by an armorer.
Fitment: any 9mm or .380 pistol with a 1/2×28 threaded barrel and enough thread exposed to seat the comp. It will not fit M13.5×1 LH barrels (common on European 9mm pistols) or .40 and .45 barrels. Because it is round and 0.73 inch in diameter, it does not match any slide profile and will sit proud of a wide slide. A comp changes holster fit.

Who should skip it
If you want a comp that looks like part of the slide, the Faxon EXOS or Zaffiri Blowhole in this batch are shaped to specific pistols and this one is not. Shooters wanting more porting than a micro comp offers should look at the Zaffiri Blowhole or a full size comp. USPSA Production and Carry Optics and IDPA SSP and CO do not allow compensators; IDPA CCP and ESP rules vary, so check your rulebook.
