The True Precision threaded barrel for the Glock 43 and 43X is a drop-in replacement with 1/2×28 muzzle threads and a copper TiCN finish. True Precision builds it for owners who want a suppressor or compensator on a slim carry gun, or who just want a match chamber and a target crown. True Precision calls it drop-in ready but notes that with factory tolerances a professional fit check is a good idea.
True Precision machines the barrel from USA-sourced certified 416R stainless steel with a proprietary broach cut 6-groove bore at a 1:10 right-hand twist, which the company says is safe for all ammo including cast lead. The chamber is SAAMI spec 9×19 and the muzzle has an 11 degree target crown. Overall length is 3.90 inches. It ships with True Precision’s high-heat Viton O-ring lock thread protector, which resists backing off under recoil. The copper TiCN finish is a PVD coating.
Fitment: True Precision lists this barrel (part TP-G43B-XTC) for the Glock 43 and Glock 43X, which share a barrel. It will not fit the Glock 48; True Precision makes a separate 4.68 inch G48 barrel that is also in this batch. It will not fit the Glock 26 or any double-stack Glock.

Who should skip it
If you own a Glock 48, this barrel is too short; use the True Precision Glock 48 threaded barrel instead. If you want a plain black barrel at a lower cost, the Backup Tactical Glock 43/43X barrel is the in-stock alternative. One thing to know: True Precision’s warranty does not promise a perfect fit in every slide, so check lockup before you shoot it. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached.
