Description
The Zaffiri Precision threaded barrel for the Glock 43 and 43X is a drop-in replacement with 1/2×28 threads for a compensator or suppressor, finished in gold TiN. Zaffiri builds it in house in Largo, Florida, and states it works with both factory slides and its own ZPS.2, ZPS.3, Z Series, and IBS slides. No fitting is required.
Zaffiri machines the barrel from 416R stainless steel, stress relieves it, and heat treats it to RC 40 to 42. It uses conventional rifling with a polished chamber and bore, a fully supported chamber, an improved feed ramp, a target crown, and an oversized lockup area with a large ZP logo cut into the port side. A thread protector is included. The gold TiN finish is a PVD coating, so it is a hard surface layer rather than paint, but expect the gold to show holster wear over time.
Fitment: Zaffiri lists this barrel for the Glock 43 and Glock 43X (the two guns share the same barrel). It will not fit the Glock 48, which needs a longer barrel; Zaffiri makes a separate 4.7 inch G48 version that is also in this batch. It will not fit the Glock 26 or any double-stack Glock.

Who should skip it
If you carry a Glock 48, skip this one and use Zaffiri’s 4.7 inch G48 threaded barrel. If you do not care about the gold color, the Backup Tactical Glock 43/43X barrel in black nitride does the same job with a thread protector included. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached, so this is a Limited Optics, Open, PCSL, or Tactical Games part.
