Description
The Timney 667-S-ST is the 3 lb AR-15 Competition trigger with a straight shoe. Same self-contained single-stage cassette as the curved 667-S, same factory-set 3 lb break, but the flat shoe lets you place your finger lower on the bow. That extra leverage makes the pull feel a touch lighter than the number on the box.
It drops into a mil-spec small-pin AR-15 lower on your rifle’s original hammer and trigger pins, and the housing keeps those pins captive so anti-walk pins are not required. Timney machines the hammer from S7 tool steel and the internals from A2 tool steel heat treated to Rc 56-60. Pull weight is not adjustable. In the box: the trigger module, set screws, and an Allen wrench.
Heads up: This AR-15 model does not fit .308 large-frame ARs or the S&W M&P 15-22.

Who it’s for
3-Gun and multigun shooters who want a light single-stage with a flat shoe and no adjustments to fiddle with. This is the most popular configuration in the Competition line for match rifles.
Who should skip it
If you want to tune the break yourself, the Timney AR Calvin Elite (660CE) is adjustable for sear, pull weight, and over-travel and ships with four shoes. If you like a curved shoe, the 667-S is the same trigger in that shape.
