Description
The SilencerCo Delta adapter lets a Walther P22 host a 1/2×28 rimfire suppressor without replacing the barrel. The P22 ships with a metric M8x0.75 thread under its barrel sleeve nut, and SilencerCo lists this adapter as the M8x0.75 to 1/2×28 model in its Delta adapter line. SilencerCo names the Switchback 22, Sparrow 22, Spectre 22, Warlock 22 and Osprey Micro 22 as compatible, and any other rimfire can threaded 1/2×28 will fit as well.
SilencerCo states the Delta adapters use O-ring engagement to keep the muzzle threads clean and prevent the suppressor from working loose under firing. Dealer listings describe the adapter as steel and state a thread protector comes in the package for shooting the P22 without a can. One thing to know: SilencerCo’s own page does not list the material or finish, so if a stainless or nitride spec matters to you, ask before you buy.
Fitment: Walther P22 pistols with the factory M8x0.75 muzzle thread, including P22Q. It is an adapter, not a barrel, so it does not fit a P22 whose barrel has been cut. It is not for the SIG Mosquito or other rimfire pistols that use a different metric pitch; SilencerCo sells separate Delta adapters for those.

Who it’s for
Walther P22 owners running a SilencerCo Sparrow, Switchback, Spectre, Warlock or Osprey Micro 22, or any other 1/2×28 rimfire can, and rimfire steel shooters who want a comp on a P22 without a barrel change.
Who should skip it
If you already have a Dead Air Mask HD, the Dead Air P22 adapter we carry is the matching part, though note that one does not include a thread protector. If your rimfire pistol is a Ruger SR22, skip adapters and get the Ruger SR22 threaded barrel kit for a native 1/2×28 muzzle. A device on a threaded muzzle is not allowed in USPSA Production or Carry Optics, but 22 LR pistols rarely see those divisions anyway.
