Description
The Faxon Match Series straight fluted barrel is a drop-in replacement for the factory 3.7 inch barrel in the SIG P365 XL, threaded 1/2×28 for a compensator or suppressor. Faxon states it is a drop-in fit for factory spec P365 XL slides with no gunsmithing. The straight flutes cut a little weight from the barrel and give it a look that stands apart from the plain factory tube.
Faxon machines the barrel from stress relieved 416R stainless steel at its facility in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and finishes it with salt bath nitride inside and out. Rifling is conventional button rifled with a 1:10 twist, the chamber is SAAMI 9mm, and the muzzle carries an 11 degree target crown behind the threads. Faxon lists overall length at 4.31 inches. One thing to know: Faxon says that because the P365 XL slide is slim, you may need to remove the O-ring from the barrel to get it installed. Faxon backs it with a lifetime guarantee against material and workmanship defects to the original purchaser.
Fitment: SIG P365 XL only. The standard P365, P365 SAS and P365X use a 3.1 inch barrel and slide, so this barrel will not fit them. It is also not listed for the X-Macro or Fuse.

Who should skip it
If you shoot a standard P365, P365X or SAS, this barrel is the wrong length; the True Precision or Zaffiri Precision P365 threaded barrels on this site fit those. If you want the extra half inch of the P365 Fuse, the True Precision Fuse barrel is the one to look at. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached, so a comp on this barrel puts you in Limited Optics or Open.
