Description
The True Precision threaded barrel is a drop-in replacement for the Glock 17 Gen 1 through Gen 4 with 1/2×28 threads at the muzzle. True Precision builds it as a match barrel, and the company states it is cut to a SAAMI spec 9×19 chamber and will run all ammunition including cast lead. It installs without fitting in a factory slide.
True Precision machines it from USA-sourced certified 416R stainless steel with a proprietary broach-cut, six-groove rifling in a one in ten right-hand twist, then finishes it in black nitride. Overall length is 5.45 in with the threaded section. It ships with True Precision’s thread protector, which uses a high-heat integral O-ring to keep it from backing off under recoil. True Precision covers it with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Fitment: Glock 17 Gen 1, 2, 3, and 4. True Precision states this barrel is not for the Gen 5 G17, which has a different hood and lug profile. It also does not fit the G17L, G34, or any compact model.

Gen 5 G17 owners need a different barrel; the Ballistic Advantage and SilencerCo Gen 5 barrels we carry both fit. If you only need threads and do not care about broach-cut rifling, the Faxon Duty Series Gen 3/4 barrel gets you there for less. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached.
