Description
The CMC Drop-In Trigger for Glock Gen 5 and Gen 6 is CMC’s Combat Curved trigger shoe and trigger bar built as one self-contained assembly. CMC introduced it in May 2026 as the first aftermarket trigger for the Gen 6 platform, and as of September 2026 it is still the only aftermarket Gen 6 trigger on the market; CMC now lists it for Gen 5 as well. It is the “NH” (no housing) version: you pull the factory trigger and bar out of your trigger housing, seat the CMC assembly in that same housing, and put the pistol back together. The factory trigger housing, ejector, trigger spring and connector all stay in the gun, which is why the box holds just the trigger assembly. CMC provides an install video and written instructions; the job takes a Glock armorer tool or a 3/32 punch to drive the trigger pin and locking block pin.
CMC does not publish a pull weight for this trigger. CMC describes the pull as “clean take-up”, “a defined break” and “positive trigger reset”, and retailer copy for CMC’s Glock line says the design keeps the factory pull weight and all factory safety features. The shoe is CMC’s Combat Curved profile (not flat), machined from 8620 alloy steel with S7 tool steel, black, with the trigger safety blade built into the shoe. Because the connector is not replaced, the pull weight you get depends on which Glock connector is already in your housing. CMC covers it with a lifetime warranty and makes it in Fort Worth, Texas.
Fitment: Gen 5 and Gen 6 Glock 9mm pistols: G17, G19, G19X, G26, G34 and G45 (CMC part 76001-NH). It will not fit Gen 3 or Gen 4 frames (CMC sells separate Gen 3 and Gen 4 drop-ins), the Slimline G42, G43, G43X and G48 (CMC has a separate Slimline trigger), or the .40, .45 and 10mm large-frame guns. CMC does not list the Gen 6 G49 for this part, so check with CMC before ordering it for a G49. MOS slides make no difference.
Also in the Pro Shop: Timney Alpha for Gen 5, Timney Alpha for Gen 6, Apex Action Enhancement Kit for Gen 5, threaded barrels for Glock.

Who it’s for
Gen 5 and Gen 6 shooters who want a curved steel shoe with a shorter, cleaner pull than the factory polymer trigger and do not want to swap out their trigger housing. Legal in USPSA Carry Optics, Limited, Limited Optics and Open; USPSA Production allows aftermarket triggers under rule 21.6 and has no minimum pull weight, but check the current Production rules before a major match. PCSL and the Tactical Games have no trigger restrictions.
Who should skip it
If you want a flat face, this is not it: look at the Timney Alpha for Gen 5 and Gen 6 that we carry, the Apex Action Enhancement kit for Gen 5, Apex’s Evo 6, or the factory Glock Performance Trigger. If you are chasing a specific pull weight, CMC does not publish one for this trigger and it reuses your factory connector, so plan on a connector swap or pick a trigger that states its number. Gen 3, Gen 4 and Slimline owners need CMC’s other Glock parts. IDPA SSP and CO require factory or listed replacement parts, so check the current IDPA equipment rules, and for a carry or duty gun ask your agency before changing trigger parts.
