Description
The Dead Air thread adapter is the fastest way to put a rimfire suppressor on a Walther P22. The P22 already has a threaded muzzle from the factory, hidden under the barrel sleeve nut, but it is a metric M8x0.75 thread that almost no suppressor uses. This adapter threads onto the P22 barrel and presents a standard 1/2×28 thread on the other end. Dead Air sells it as the P22 adapter for its Mask HD 22 can, and it works with any other rimfire suppressor or 22 LR device threaded 1/2×28.
Dealer listings describe it as stainless steel with a black nitride finish, and Dead Air’s design uses an O-ring shoulder so the suppressor seats against the adapter and does not loosen under fire. One thing to know: dealer copy for the current version states the thread protector is no longer included, so if you plan to shoot the P22 without the can attached, add a 1/2×28 protector. Also confirm your suppressor’s mount is rated for the P22 before you buy; most rimfire cans are, but check the fitment guide.
Fitment: Walther P22 pistols with the factory M8x0.75 muzzle thread, which includes standard and P22Q models.
