Description
The HIPERFIRE Hipertouch Eclipse is HIPERFIRE’s single-stage AR trigger with nickel boron coated fire control parts, built for 3-Gun and multigun rifles. HIPERFIRE lists minimal take-up, a crisp break, short over-travel and a positive reset, and two user-selectable pull weights of 2.5 or 3.5 pounds set by which of the two included hammer springs you install.
The Cam-Over Toggle Engine is what separates the Hipertouch line from a standard AR fire control group: it stores spring energy so the hammer strikes hard at the light setting, which HIPERFIRE says keeps ignition reliable on hard primers. The Eclipse adds a nickel boron (NiB) coating on the hammer, trigger and disconnector for a slick surface and wear resistance, and ships with the flat HIPERSHOE finger pad, which moves your finger lower on the bow to reduce the felt pull.
Fitment: component fire control group, not a drop-in cassette. The hammer, trigger and disconnector install on your lower’s standard 0.154 inch pins like a mil-spec trigger. HIPERFIRE lists mil-spec AR-15 lowers and AR-10 and .308 lowers that use AR-15 fire control parts. It will not fit large-pin (0.170 inch) Colt lowers or off-pattern .308 receivers that do not take AR-15 fire control parts.

Who it’s for
3-Gun and multigun shooters who want a light, crisp single-stage that still hits hard enough for hard-primer ammo, and who do not mind a standard pin install.
Who should skip it
If you want a two-minute drop-in cassette, the Timney AR-15 Competition or Calvin Elite is the easier install. If you want a two-stage for a rifle that also does precision work, look at the HIPERFIRE X2S MOD-3 or the Timney AR PRO. A 2.5 pound single-stage is a range and competition setting; for a hard-use duty or defensive carbine run the 3.5 pound spring or a heavier trigger such as the HIPERFIRE EDT2S.
Division note: 3-Gun, multigun and USPSA PCC rules do not restrict aftermarket AR triggers or set a minimum pull weight; PCSL bans forced-reset and binary triggers by name. Check the current rulebook before a major match.
