Description
The HIPERFIRE Hipertouch Elite is the entry point to the Hipertouch line. It is a single-stage AR trigger with a curved bow, almost no take-up, a crisp break, and two user-selectable pull weights of 2.5 or 3.5 lb. Like the rest of the series it uses HIPERFIRE’s Cam-Over Toggle Engine and dual coil springs, so the hammer hits hard even at 2.5 lb. HIPERFIRE says the design gives shorter pre-travel and a faster reset than its Genesis model.
It is a component fire control group. The hammer, trigger, and disconnector install on your lower’s standard 0.154 in pins, and you choose the pull weight by which of the two included hammer springs you fit. The curved bow has what HIPERFIRE calls a Backbone, a reinforced rib along the back of the trigger. It does not include the HIPERSHOE finger pad. HIPERFIRE lists it for mil-spec AR-15 lowers and .308 lowers that take AR-15 fire control parts. In the box: hammer, trigger, disconnector, two hammer springs, and hardware.

Who it’s for
Competitors who want the Hipertouch break at the lowest price in the line and prefer a traditional curved trigger. A solid step up for a rifle that is moving from mil-spec to match use.
Who should skip it
If you want a straight bow and the adjustable HIPERSHOE pad, the Hipertouch Competition adds both for a little more. If you want NiB-coated contact surfaces on top of that, the Hipertouch Eclipse is the top of the line. Shooters who want a two-minute drop-in install should look at a cassette like the Timney Competition (667-S) instead.
