Description
The Gun Tool Pro AR15 is Real Avid’s AR15-specific multi-tool. Real Avid states it packs 35 tools into a tactical, rugged frame to keep AR15s running, covering teardown, carbon scraping, maintenance and reassembly in the field, at the range or on the bench. For a 3-Gun or Tactical Games competitor, it is the tool that rides in the range bag for between-stage fixes instead of the full armorer’s case.
The design folds AR15 jobs into one frame rather than a loose roll of tools. Real Avid names the core tasks as tear down, carbon scraping, maintenance and reassembly. RSR’s listing names the main pieces: a bolt carrier scraper, a 9-function bolt, firing pin and cam pin scraper, a 1/4 in bit driver with a 1/4 in bit wrench for extra torque, a bolt override tool, a cotter pin puller and a 2.5 in claw-point plain edge knife blade, in stainless steel with a Flat Dark Earth and black finish and a MOLLE-compatible nylon sheath. Real Avid does not publish dimensions or weight. The blade is there for utility cuts, so the tool also covers basic knife duty at the range.
Fitment: Real Avid lists the AR15. It will NOT replace a torque wrench: Real Avid gives it no torque rating, so barrel nuts, castle nuts and optic mounts still need a torque tool. It will NOT be a bench armorer’s kit; there are no vise blocks or punch set. Real Avid lists no coverage for AR10 or pistols, and it is a different product from the 30-tool Gun Tool Pro made for general rifles and shotguns.

Who should skip it
If most of your AR work happens at a bench, the AR15 Armorer’s Master Kit or the Armorer’s Master Wrench handles builds better.
