Description
The Rival Arms Precision drop-in threaded barrel replaces the factory Glock 19 Gen 3 or Gen 4 barrel and adds 1/2×28 threads for a suppressor or compensator. Rival Arms calls it a match-grade barrel and states it installs without gunsmith fitting in a factory slide. Rival builds, machines, and sources its barrels in the United States and covers them with a limited lifetime warranty.
Rival Arms CNC machines it from 416R stainless steel billet with six-groove rifling in a one in ten twist and a target crown behind the threads. The outside is coated in black with a low-temperature vacuum PVD process, and the bore gets Rival’s BORSLICK boron nitride treatment, which the company says resists heat and carbon buildup. A color-matched Rival Arms thread protector ships with every threaded barrel.
Fitment: Glock 19 Gen 3 and Gen 4 only. Rival Arms sells a separate Gen 5 version of this barrel, so this one is not the pick for a Gen 5 G19, a 19X, or a 45, which all use the Gen 5 hood and lug profile. It will not fit the G17, G26, G43X, or G48, and fit in aftermarket slides is not guaranteed.

Gen 3 and Gen 4 G19 owners who want a stainless match barrel with a black coating and threads for a comp or can, most often for Limited Optics, Open, PCSL, or Tactical Games.
Who should skip it
It costs the most of the G19 barrels in this lineup, and the Ballistic Advantage Gen 3-5 barrel or the Faxon Match Series flame fluted barrel both cover Gen 3 and 4 for less while also fitting Gen 5. If your gun is a Gen 5, 19X, or 45, skip this one entirely and look at those two or the True Precision G19 barrel. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached.
