Description
The IPOK is North American Rescue’s flat, vacuum-sealed bleeding control kit. It packs a full C-A-T tourniquet, wound packing gauze, a pressure dressing, and trauma gloves into a package about the size of a paperback. The detail that matters is that it is sealed as one unit. You do not assemble it, and nothing falls out of a bag pocket, until you tear the red tab.
This is the 80-0167 version with S-rolled gauze. NAR lists the contents as one black C-A-T Gen 7, one NAR gauze roll, one 4 inch Flat ETD emergency trauma dressing, and one pair of large Black Talon nitrile gloves. The 4 mm bag is vacuum sealed with NAR’s Red Tip tear notches, and it measures 4 by 6.5 by 2.75 inches packaged at 7.4 ounces. It fits a cargo pocket, a range bag admin pouch, or a plate carrier flap.
Heads up: once opened, the kit does not reseal. Buy a second one to open and inspect if you want to know how it is packed.
