Description

The NAR Rigid Gen 7 C-A-T Case is an injection-molded polymer holster for a Gen 7 tourniquet. There is no flap and no strap. The case grips the folded tourniquet by friction, and you pull it straight out by the top. It mounts to a belt with a Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, which is the same style of mount many competitors already run on holsters and mag pouches.

The Tek-Lok fits belts up to 2.25 inches, so it works on a 1.75 inch competition outer belt as well as a duty belt. The case mounts vertically or horizontally and NAR says it will also bolt to a Safariland drop leg shroud through the existing holes with two screws. A hook-and-loop medical cross on the face marks it as med gear. This is the open-top version without the Hypalon cover. Tourniquet and belt are sold separately.

Heads up: this case is sized for the Gen 7 C-A-T only. A Gen 6 or another brand of tourniquet will not seat correctly.

Who it’s for

Competitors who want a tourniquet on a 1.75 inch belt next to their holster and mag pouches, and Tactical Games athletes who need a fast, one-hand draw from the belt line.

Who should skip it

If your tourniquet rides on a plate carrier or chest rig, the NAR soft C-A-T Holder is lighter and mounts directly to PALS webbing. If you crawl, climb, or work in brush, consider NAR’s covered version of this case so the open top cannot collect debris.
