Description

This is the same Gen 7 C-A-T that North American Rescue supplies to the U.S. Army, in rescue orange instead of black. The color is the whole point. When a squadmate is digging through your range bag or scanning your belt for the tourniquet, orange gets found faster than black. Function is identical: a 1.5 inch strap, single-routing buckle, and a locking windlass that stops arterial bleeding in an arm or leg.

The Gen 7 uses a free-moving internal band, a reinforced ribbed windlass rod, and a beveled stabilization plate. The windlass clip locks from either side, a hook-and-loop strap secures it, and the security strap has a writeable surface for the time of application. It folds flat to about 6.5 by 2.4 inches and fits any C-A-T holder. One tourniquet per package. Holder sold separately.

Heads up: keep this one sealed for real use. Practice with the blue NAR trainer, which we also carry.

Who it’s for

Range bags, match staff kits, and team med kits where the tourniquet needs to be visible at a glance. Good pick for a club or Tactical Games team stocking stage medical.

Who should skip it

If you carry the tourniquet on a duty or competition belt and want it low-key, the black C-A-T is the same tool. If you only need something to drill with, buy the blue trainer instead.
