This is the 12-round version of Carbon Arms’ fixed shell holder, giving you six Twin Loads, three Quad Loads, or any combination from a single carrier. If you shoot stages that push past 16–20 shotgun rounds, the 12-round holder reduces the number of caddies you need on your belt compared to running multiple 8-round units.
The trade-off is belt real estate. A 12-round holder takes up noticeably more space than an 8-round, and depending on how your belt is laid out with pistol mag pouches, rifle mag pouches, and a holster, it may force you to rethink your entire belt configuration. For shooters who run a mix of 8-round and 12-round holders, staging the 12-round at your primary grab position and the 8-round as a secondary can be an efficient setup for high round count stages.
Same Delrin backplate as the 8-round version — lightweight, pre-drilled for Safariland ELS, Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, and TMMS mounting. Mount hardware is sold separately. This is the Regular Clips version, which holds shells at standard spacing from the backplate. Carbon Arms also makes an XL Clips version with additional standoff distance for shooters who want more clearance during their grab.
This is a fixed 12-round holder — it’s not the modular pinwheel system, so the clip count and capacity are set.

The Carbon Arms 12 Round Shot Shell Holder is a 12-round shotshell caddy designed for belt-mounted use in competitive shooting. It uses Carbon Arms’ TWinS (Two in Shotgun) clip system, holding 12-gauge 2-3/4″ shells horizontally for strong-hand or weak-hand retrieval.
The caddy supports multiple loading methods from the same carrier: six Twin Loads (grabbing 2 shells at a time), three Quad Loads (grabbing 4 shells at a time), or any combination. The 12-round capacity means fewer caddies on your belt for stages with heavy shotgun round counts, which frees up belt space for pistol and rifle magazine pouches.
This version uses Regular sized injection-molded clips in black. The clips hold shells at a standard spacing from the Delrin backplate. Carbon Arms also offers an XL Clips version that provides additional standoff distance between shells and the mounting plate — the choice between Regular and XL comes down to hand size, loading style preference, and how you want the shells to present during your grab.
The Delrin backplate is pre-drilled to accept Safariland ELS forks, Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, and Blade-Tech TMMS mounting systems. Mounting hardware is not included and must be purchased separately. The caddy mounts at adjustable angles, allowing you to dial in the orientation that works for your draw.
This is a fixed 12-round holder and is not expandable. All clips and hardware are injection-molded in the USA with domestically sourced hardware.
