Description

The Magpod is a replacement floorplate for Magpul Gen M2 MOE PMAGs that turns the magazine into a monopod. It adds a flat, textured foot to the bottom of the mag so you can load the rifle into a barricade, a bag, or the ground and get a stable rest without a bipod. This is the black three-pack, so you can set up three mags for the rifle stages where it matters.

The plate is double injection molded glass-reinforced PA6 polymer with a steel wire spring retainer. It snaps on in place of the factory floorplate with no tools. The wider foot also gives you more to grab when stripping a mag from a pouch or the rifle, and the shape keeps the feed lips off the deck when you drop the mag. Made in the USA.

Fitment note: this version fits Gen M2 MOE PMAGs and older Gen 1 PMAGs only. It does not fit Gen M3 PMAGs, which use a different floorplate. Magpod makes a separate Gen M3 version.

Who it’s for

3-Gun and Tactical Games shooters running Gen M2 PMAGs who want a monopod rest for prone and barricade rifle stages without carrying a bipod.

Who should skip it

If your mags are Gen M3 PMAGs, this will not fit. Buy the Gen M3 Magpod instead. And if you run a bipod on every rifle stage anyway, the Magpul Bipod for 1913 Picatinny or M-LOK gives you a steadier rest than any mag monopod.
