Description
The Warne QD X-SKEL QDXSKEL30TW is a skeletonized one-piece cantilever mount with two quick-detach levers. It puts a 30mm scope at what Warne calls MSR Ideal Height, 1.43 inches from rail to ring centerline, and pushes the rings forward so an LPVO sits at the right eye relief on a flat-top AR without bridging onto the handguard.
Warne machines the body from 6061-T6 aluminum and fits steel threaded inserts, so the ring screws thread into steel instead of aluminum. Warne lists it at 8.2 ounces with 0.750 inch wide rings and a 3.05 inch base, and says it clears objectives up to 72mm. Finish is matte black. Made in the USA.
Heads up: QD levers are for pulling the optic to clean, travel, or swap uppers. Check your zero after remounting before you trust it at a match.

Who should skip it
If the scope never leaves the rifle, a fixed mount saves the lever bulk and some money. If your scope has a 34mm tube, this mount will not fit. We carry the same mount in 34mm.
