Description
The Warne QD X-SKEL QDXSKEL1TW is a skeletonized one-piece cantilever mount with two quick-detach levers. It puts a 1 inch scope at what Warne calls MSR Ideal Height, 1.43 inches from rail to ring centerline, and pushes the rings forward so the scope sits at the right eye relief on a flat-top AR without bridging onto the handguard.
Warne machines the body from 6061-T6 aluminum and fits steel threaded inserts, so the ring screws thread into steel instead of aluminum. Warne lists it at 8.2 ounces with 0.750 inch wide rings and a 3.05 inch base, and says it clears objectives up to 72mm. Finish is matte black. Made in the USA.
Heads up: Most current LPVOs use a 30mm or 34mm tube. Measure your scope tube before ordering. This one is for 1 inch tubes only.
