Description
The Apex Polymer Action Enhancement Kit for slim frame Glocks is the lower-cost version of Apex’s two-part drop-in for the Glock 43, 43X and 48. Apex built it to shorten and smooth the long factory trigger on the slimline guns while keeping the factory safeties, and the polymer shoe is what brings the price down. It replaces the factory trigger and trigger bar and the factory connector; the trigger housing, firing pin safety plunger and springs stay in the gun. Apex lists it as a direct drop-in with no fitting required.
Apex describes a smoother pull with reduced pre-travel, overall travel and reset distance, a smooth uptake and reset, and a break at four and a half pounds average (Apex’s page calls it both crisp and a clean rolling break). The shoe is black polymer in Apex’s Classic profile: flat face, radiused front corners, flat sides, with a center-mounted pivoting safety blade. Apex says the trigger bar and connector are coated in nickel-Teflon for smooth operation and corrosion resistance. In the box: the Polymer Action Enhancement Trigger installed on an Apex trigger bar and an Apex Performance Connector. No safety plunger is included. Apex states the center-mounted pivoting safety maintains factory safety values, and says the kit is one hundred percent made in the USA.
Fitment: Glock 43, 43X and 48 only, MOS included. It will NOT fit the Glock 42, and Apex states it is not for use in the PSA Dagger Micro. Not for Shadow Systems pistols and not for any standard frame Glock (those need Apex’s Gen 3/4 or Gen 5 kits). Apex states it is not for use with any forced reset trigger system.
Also in the Pro Shop: Tyrant CNC I.T.T.S. for the 43, 43X and 48, threaded barrels for Glock.

Who it’s for
Glock 43X and 48 shooters in USPSA Carry Optics and Production, IDPA BUG and CCP (check the equipment rules), PCSL and the Tactical Games who want a shorter, smoother slimline trigger at the lowest price in the Apex line.
Who should skip it
If you want an aluminum shoe, Apex’s standard slim frame kit lists the same four and a half pound figure with an anodized body in black or red, and the Type 3 version adds machined face cuts. This kit does not fit the G42, any standard frame Glock, or the PSA Dagger Micro. If you carry the gun, weigh the lighter trigger first; some instructors and most agencies say no to aftermarket triggers in a carry pistol. We also carry the Tyrant CNC I.T.T.S. for the 43, 43X and 48. Division check: aftermarket triggers are legal in USPSA Carry Optics, Limited, Limited Optics, Open and Production; USPSA Production has no minimum pull weight and allows aftermarket triggers under rule 21.6, but read the current rulebook. IDPA SSP, CO, CCP and BUG require factory or IDPA-listed replacement parts, so check the IDPA equipment rules. PCSL and the Tactical Games do not restrict triggers.
