Description
The True Precision threaded barrel for the Glock 48 replaces the factory 4.68 inch barrel and adds 1/2×28 threads for a suppressor or compensator. True Precision built it as a drop-in part for the factory G48 slide, with the note that tolerances vary and a professional fit check is recommended. This is the black nitride version, which matches the factory slide finish.
True Precision machines it from USA-sourced certified 416R stainless steel with a broach cut 6-groove bore at a 1:10 right-hand twist, safe for cast lead per the company, and a SAAMI spec 9×19 chamber. The muzzle carries an 11 degree target crown. Overall length with threads is 4.9 inches. It ships with True Precision’s Viton high-heat O-ring lock thread protector.
Fitment: True Precision lists this barrel (part TP-G48B-XTBL) for the Glock 48 only. It will not fit the Glock 43 or 43X, which use a shorter 3.41 inch barrel and a shorter slide. It will not fit the Glock 19 or any double-stack Glock.
Pairs with: Faxon EXOS-533 Compensator (Glock 43X and 48, 9mm, 1/2×28, Black); Zaffiri Precision Blowhole Compensator (Glock 43, 43X, and 48, 9mm, 1/2×28, Black Nitride).

Who it’s for
Glock 48 owners who want a threaded muzzle without changing the look of the gun, and PCSL or Tactical Games shooters who run a G48 with a compensator.
Who should skip it
If you shoot a Glock 43 or 43X, this barrel is too long; use the True Precision, Backup Tactical, or Zaffiri Glock 43/43X barrels in this batch. If you want a gold finish, the Zaffiri Precision Glock 48 threaded barrel is the other G48 option here. One thing to know: adding a compensator to a G48 makes an already long slim gun longer, so check your holster. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached.
