Description
The True Precision threaded barrel for the P320 X-Compact replaces the factory 3.6 inch barrel with a 1/2×28 threaded one. True Precision built it as a drop-in part for the X-Compact, and the install is a barrel swap during a field strip, though True Precision recommends a qualified armorer or gunsmith.
True Precision machines the barrel from USA-sourced certified 416R stainless steel and finishes it in black nitride. Rifling is a proprietary broach cut, six groove, 1:10 right hand twist that True Precision states works with all ammunition including cast lead, and the chamber is SAAMI spec 9×19. Overall length is 4.30 inches with the threads. A high heat integral O-ring lock thread protector ships on the barrel. One thing to know: True Precision warns that with a barrel this short, some compensators, boosters and other attachments may not have enough thread to seat properly, so check the thread engagement your device needs.
Fitment: True Precision lists this barrel for the 3.6 inch P320 X-Compact 9mm. True Precision also states it works as a short threaded barrel in the 3.9 inch P320 Compact, X-Carry and M18, with some light fitting possible on the X-Carry; in those slides the threads sit closer to the slide face. It will not fit the P320 Full Size, X-Five or Carry length slides as a flush fit, and it is not a 40 S&W or 357 SIG conversion.

Who should skip it
If you shoot a P320 Compact with the 3.9 inch barrel and want the threads to stand off the slide the normal amount, the Backup Tactical P320 Compact barrel on this site is cut to that length. If your P320 is a Full Size, look at the Faxon flame fluted Full Size barrel. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached, so a comp on this barrel means Limited Optics or Open.
