Description
The True Precision threaded barrel is a drop-in replacement for the Glock 19 with 1/2×28 threads at the muzzle, and True Precision states it is designed for the 3.9 in Glock 19, 19X, and 45 across Gen 1 through Gen 5. True Precision builds it as a match barrel with a SAAMI spec 9×19 chamber and says it will run all ammunition including cast lead. This is the bare satin stainless version. It installs in a factory slide without fitting.
True Precision machines it from USA-sourced certified 416R stainless steel with proprietary broach-cut, six-groove rifling in a one in ten right-hand twist. Overall length with the threaded section is 4.5 in. It ships with True Precision’s thread protector, which uses a high-heat integral O-ring so it does not walk off under recoil. True Precision covers it with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and the thing to know about an uncoated stainless barrel is that it will show carbon and holster wear faster than a nitrided one.
Fitment: Glock 19 Gen 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, plus the Glock 19X and Glock 45, per True Precision. It does not fit the G17, G26, G43X, or G48. As with any aftermarket barrel, fit in aftermarket slides is not guaranteed.
Pairs with: Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator (Glock 19 Gen 5, 9mm, Guide Rod Mount, Black); Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator (Glock 19 Gen 3, 9mm, Guide Rod Mount, Black); Faxon EXOS-553 Compensator (Glock 17, 19, 34 Gen 5, 9mm, 1/2×28, Black); Faxon EXOS-513 Compensator (Glock 17, 19, 34 Gen 3 and FX-19, 9mm, 1/2×28, Black).

Who it’s for
Shooters with an older Gen 1 or Gen 2 G19 that other makers do not cover, anyone who wants a stainless barrel showing through a slide window, and 19X or 45 owners who want the manufacturer to say their gun fits in so many words.
Who should skip it
If you want a coated barrel that hides wear, the Faxon Match Series flame fluted G19 barrel (nitride, Gen 2 through 5) or the Ballistic Advantage Gen 3-5 barrel in black are the alternatives. If you are on a budget and shoot a Gen 3 through 5, the Ballistic Advantage barrel is the lower-cost route to a threaded muzzle. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached; Limited Optics and Open do.
