Description
The Faxon Match Series Flame Fluted threaded barrel is a drop-in replacement for the Glock 19 that Faxon lists for Gen 2 through Gen 5, the 19X, and the 45, with 1/2×28 threads for a suppressor or compensator. Faxon machines it entirely in-house in Ohio, cuts an 11-degree target crown behind the threads, and states no gunsmithing is needed for a factory slide.
Faxon machines it from stress-relieved 416R stainless steel, button rifles it with a one in ten twist, and finishes it with salt bath nitride inside and out over Faxon’s patented Flame Fluting, which the company says trims weight and adds surface area for cooling. The chamber is 9mm SAAMI. Length is 4.47 in and weight is about 3.92 oz with the thread protector installed, which is included. Faxon backs it with its lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.
Fitment: Glock 19 Gen 2, 3, 4, and 5, plus the Glock 19X and Glock 45, per Faxon. It will not fit the G17, G26, G43X, or G48. Faxon reports a known compatibility issue with some Zaffiri Precision slides (ZPS.3v2 and ZPS.6 patterns) because of the top window size and placement.
Pairs with: Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator (Glock 19 Gen 5, 9mm, Guide Rod Mount, Black); Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator (Glock 19 Gen 3, 9mm, Guide Rod Mount, Black); Faxon EXOS-553 Compensator (Glock 17, 19, 34 Gen 5, 9mm, 1/2×28, Black); Faxon EXOS-513 Compensator (Glock 17, 19, 34 Gen 3 and FX-19, 9mm, 1/2×28, Black).

Who it’s for
G19, 19X, and 45 owners who want a match barrel with threads and a clear fitment answer from the manufacturer, whether for a can, a Limited Optics or Open comp, or a PCSL or Tactical Games pistol.
Who should skip it
The flutes are cosmetic as much as functional, and if you would rather save money and keep a plain profile, the Ballistic Advantage Gen 3-5 G19 barrel is the lower-cost pick. Gen 1 G19 owners should look at the True Precision G19 barrel, which True Precision lists as Gen 1 through 5. If you run a Zaffiri ZPS.3v2 or ZPS.6 slide, ask before buying. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached.
