Description
The Ballistic Advantage threaded barrel replaces the factory Glock 19 barrel in Gen 3, Gen 4, and Gen 5 pistols with one part number and adds 1/2×28 threads for a suppressor or compensator. Ballistic Advantage cuts the hood and lugs to work across all three generations, states it is tested in complete factory pistols, and calls for no break-in. It drops in with no fitting.
Ballistic Advantage machines it from hardened 416R stainless steel, button rifles it with a one in ten twist, and finishes it in black QPQ, a nitride process the company says improves surface hardness and wear resistance. The bore is honed, lapped, and tumbled, and the chamber meets SAAMI spec. A standard thread protector ships with it. The 1/2×28 pitch is the 9mm standard, so most comps, boosters, and thread-on devices fit directly.
Fitment: Ballistic Advantage lists this barrel for the Glock 19 Gen 3, Gen 4, and Gen 5. The Glock 19X and Glock 45 use the same Gen 5 G19 slide and barrel length, so a Gen 3 through 5 G19 barrel is the barrel those pistols take, though Ballistic Advantage does not name the 19X or 45 on its page. It will not fit the G17, G26, G43X, or G48. Ballistic Advantage does not guarantee fitment in aftermarket slides.

Gen 1 and Gen 2 G19 owners should look at the True Precision G19 barrel, which True Precision lists as Gen 1 through 5. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached; Limited Optics and Open do.
