Description
Edgar Sherman Design’s ESD Padded Sling is the padded version of the ESD Sling. It keeps the pull tab quick-adjust and the elastic regulator that stows the tail, and adds a low-profile pad that spreads rifle weight across its full width.
Pad construction is multi-layer Cordura over 0.25 inch closed-cell EVA foam, with a soft stretch fabric on the skin side and no exposed stitching on top. A built-in carabiner loop lets you tether the rifle to a tripod or a boat. The sling ends are open with tri-glides, so you supply your own QD swivels or HK hooks. Hand-made in the USA, Berry compliant.
Ranger Green is the default color for most current nylon kit, so the pad matches belts, pouches and carriers already in use.

Who it’s for
Shooters running a heavier rifle, an LPVO and a light, who want padding without a bulky pad that snags on a plate carrier.
Who should skip it
If your rifle is light and your stages are short, save the money and get the standard ESD Sling, which we also carry. The padded model also needs QD swivels or HK hooks bought separately.
