The Diamond is TriggerTech’s top single-stage drop-in for the AR-15, and it’s built around one thing: the break. Their Frictionless Release Technology captures a free-floating roller between the sear and the trigger, so instead of two surfaces sliding past each other you get a true zero-creep release. The result is a clean, repeatable break with sub-0.030″ reset and minimal over-travel — the kind of feel that shows up on your target at distance. Pull weight adjusts from 1.5 to 4.0 lbs in 2 oz increments off a single set screw, with the trigger installed, so you can tune it without pulling the lower apart. The smart part: changing pull weight doesn’t change hammer force, so you get dependable primer strikes whether you run it at 1.5 lbs for a match or 3.5 for a general-purpose build. That’s a wider usable range than most premium drop-ins. It’s a self-contained module that drops in on mil-spec 0.154″ pins — no gunsmithing. Wear components are 440C stainless in a 7075 aluminum housing with a PVD finish, and this one wears TriggerTech’s Admiral Blue/Black colorway with a flat shoe.

Who it’s for

Precision, 3-Gun, and AR builders who want a zero-creep single-stage they can tune across a wide weight range and install in minutes — plus anyone who wants the blue accent to set the build apart.

Who should skip it

If you want a two-stage feel, TriggerTech makes the Diamond in two-stage instead. Run the light settings on a range or match gun — for a hard-use duty or defensive carbine, keep it toward the heavy end or pick a duty trigger. And if the blue finish isn’t your thing, the Diamond comes in black.
