Description
Super Vel Hush Puppy Certified Select is a remanufactured subsonic 9mm load. Super Vel loads a 147 grain full metal jacket bullet on once-fired brass and lists it at 900 fps, well under the speed of sound, with a USPSA power factor of 132. This is the 1,000-round bulk pack, shipped as two 500-round loose bags. No boxes, no trays, lowest price per round in this load.
Super Vel builds Certified Select on the same machines and under the same quality control as its factory-new ammo, with once-fired brass that is inspected and reloaded. The load is meant for suppressed shooting and low recoil. Super Vel warns that it may not cycle some pistols with the factory recoil spring, and a reduced-power spring may be needed. The bags are the only packaging, so have an ammo can ready.

Who should skip it
This is remanufactured ammo. Some ranges and some matches prohibit reman, so check the rules first. It is not for defensive use, and the velocity and power factor are Super Vel’s, not ours. At 147 grains and 900 fps it is around 132 power factor, above USPSA Minor (125) but close enough that you should chrono it in your own gun before a match. It may not cycle a stock unsuppressed pistol with a heavy recoil spring, so run the 100-round box before buying a thousand loose rounds. If you want the same load in boxes, buy the 1,000-round case of ten boxes.
