The Real Avid Accu-Punch 11-Piece Roll Pin Punch Set is a dedicated set of roll pin punches for driving roll pins in and out of firearms. Real Avid states the Accu-Punch line is designed from the ground up to work with firearms. AR builders assembling lowers and uppers, and Tactical Games competitors who maintain and repair their own rifles between events, are the usual buyers.
Real Avid lists eleven roll pin punches in specialized sizes, made of hardened steel with nickel plating. Each punch has a hex-shaped handle that Real Avid states keeps it from rolling off the bench, plus rubber O-rings for grip control. The set stores in a three-position case with clear size labels, so the right punch goes back in the right slot. The trade-off: Real Avid does not publish the individual punch sizes on its product page, so you cannot confirm a specific diameter against a pin before the set is in hand.
Fitment: Real Avid lists the set for roll pin installation and removal on firearms. It will NOT replace standard pin punches for solid pins; Real Avid sells those as a separate 11-Piece Standard Pin Punch Set.
