Description
The Radian Afterburner and Ramjet for the SIG P365 is a matched barrel and micro compensator set, sold together, for the P365 and P365X with the standard 3.1 inch slide. Radian designed the system so a micro compact can run a compensator without a threaded barrel. The Ramjet has no threads. Radian’s Intra-Lok mount uses a tapered locking screw in the Afterburner that seats into an angled V-groove under the barrel, which times the comp and holds it without thread locker. Install is a barrel swap: remove the factory barrel, drop in the Ramjet, reinstall the recoil spring assembly, slide the Afterburner over the muzzle, and torque the screw to 15 inch pounds per Radian’s instructions. No shims or crush washer. One screw frees the comp for cleaning.
Radian machines the Ramjet from hardened 416R stainless steel and the Afterburner from hardened stainless steel; both wear Radian’s Radianite coating in black. Gas exits through one top port with no side ports, and Radian angles the front faces of the Afterburner to help it holster. Radian’s stated design goal for the system was reliable cycling with the stock recoil spring, and Radian’s SIG version keeps the 3.1 inch barrel length recoil spring assembly. Included: Ramjet barrel, Afterburner, Intra-Lok tapered screw, and a Torx bit.
Fitment: Radian lists this version for the SIG P365 and P365X, meaning any P365 upper with the 3.1 inch slide, on any grip module. It will not fit the P365 XL or XMacro (3.7 inch slide; Radian sells a separate version), the P365 Fuse, or the P365 XMacro Comp with SIG’s integral comp slide. Radian’s SIG listing says the Ramjet has no loaded chamber indicator cut, so a slide that uses an LCI is out. Radian states fitment for factory SIG slides and publishes no list of approved aftermarket slides. The Afterburner only mounts to a Ramjet barrel.

Who should skip it
If your slide is the 3.7 inch XL or XMacro, buy Radian’s XL version; this one is 3.1 inch only. Expect to change holsters, since the Afterburner hangs past the standard slide. If you already have a threaded barrel from the threaded barrels we carry for the SIG P365/XL, the Faxon EXOS for the P365 is the cheaper thread on option. Division rules: USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a compensator, and IDPA SSP and CO do not either; IDPA CCP and ESP vary, so check the rulebook.
