Description
The Radian Afterburner and Ramjet for the Glock 19 Gen 6 is the Gen 6 specific version of Radian’s matched barrel and micro compensator set, sold as the full combo. Radian says the Gen 6 barrel geometry differs from Gen 5 in the safety notch interface, so it engineered this version only for the G19 Gen 6 and G45 Gen 6 rather than carrying the Gen 5 part over. Like every Ramjet, the barrel has no threads. Radian’s Intra-Lok mount uses a tapered locking screw in the Afterburner that seats into an angled V-groove under the barrel. You swap the Ramjet in for the factory barrel, slide the Afterburner over the muzzle, and torque the screw to 15 inch pounds per Radian’s instructions. No shims, crush washer, or thread locker, and one screw frees the comp for cleaning.
Radian machines the Ramjet from hardened 416R stainless steel with flutes, a gas sealing chamber, and a loaded chamber indicator cut. The Afterburner is hardened stainless steel. Both are coated in black Radianite. Gas exits through one top port with no side ports. Radian says the combo extends a G19 slide to Glock 17 length, so it fits open bottom G17 holsters, including Gen 6 pattern holsters. Radian’s stated design goal for the system was reliable cycling with the stock recoil spring; Radian also offers a Compressor guide rod with 13, 15, and 18 pound springs for tuning. Included: Ramjet barrel, Afterburner, Intra-Lok tapered screw, and a Torx bit.
Fitment: Radian lists this version for the Glock 19 Gen 6 and Glock 45 Gen 6 only. It will not fit a Gen 5 G19, 19X, or 45, and Radian says its Gen 5 combo will not fit a Gen 6 pistol. It will not fit a G17 of any generation. Radian states fitment for factory Glock slides and publishes no list of approved aftermarket slides. The Afterburner only mounts to a Ramjet barrel.

Who should skip it
If your G19 is a Gen 5 or earlier, this will not fit; Radian makes a separate combo for each generation. Gen 6 is new enough that thread on alternatives are thin, so if you want a cheaper comp, wait for a Gen 6 threaded barrel and a 1/2×28 comp rather than forcing a Gen 5 part. Division rules: USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a compensator, and IDPA SSP and CO do not either; IDPA CCP and ESP vary, so check the rulebook.
