Description
The HIPERFIRE X2S MOD-3 is a two-stage AR trigger with a flat bow and user-selectable pull weight. HIPERFIRE specs the first stage at 2 lb with the green spring or 3 lb with the red spring, then a short wall and about 1.5 lb more to break, for a total of 3.5 or 4.5 lb. You pick the weight by which hammer spring you install. The first stage is long and smooth, the second stage has a minimal wall.
HIPERFIRE calls it semi-drop-in. It is a component fire control group, not a cassette, so the hammer, trigger, and disconnector go in on your lower’s standard 0.154 in pins the same way a mil-spec trigger does. Parts are finished in black nitride. It ships with a flat trigger bow and the HIPERSHOE finger pad, which you can run or leave off; the pad lets you move your finger lower on the bow and adjusts felt weight. HIPERFIRE lists fitment for AR-15, AR-10, and AR9 PCC variants, including the SIG SAUER MPX. In the box: hammer, trigger, disconnector, green and red hammer springs, HIPERSHOE, and hardware.
