Description
The Faxon Match Series flame fluted barrel is a drop-in replacement for the factory 4.7 inch barrel in the SIG P320 Full Size, threaded 1/2×28 for a compensator or suppressor. Faxon states it is a direct replacement for factory P320 Full Size slides with no modifications needed. The patented flame fluting trims weight and gives the exposed barrel a look that stands out in an optics cut slide.
Faxon machines the barrel from stress relieved 416R stainless steel and finishes it with salt bath nitride inside and out. Rifling is conventional button rifled at a 1:10 twist, the chamber is SAAMI 9mm, and the muzzle carries an 11 degree target crown behind the threads. Faxon lists overall length at 5.54 inches. Faxon backs the barrel with its lifetime guarantee against manufacturing and material defects to the original purchaser. The 1/2×28 pitch is the 9mm standard, so most muzzle devices fit without an adapter.
Fitment: SIG P320 Full Size with a factory spec slide. Faxon states the barrel is not compatible with the M17 or with X Series pistols, including the X-Five and X-Five Legion, which use a different barrel profile. It also will not fit the Compact, Carry or X-Compact slides. This is a 9mm barrel, not a caliber conversion.

Who should skip it
If you shoot an X-Five, X-Five Legion or M17, Faxon says this barrel does not fit; look for a barrel made for the X Series. If your P320 is a Compact or X-Compact, the Backup Tactical Compact barrel or the True Precision X-Compact barrel on this site are the right lengths. USPSA Production and Carry Optics do not allow a threaded barrel with a device attached.
