Description
The Ballistic Engineering Accurized AR is a single-stage cassette trigger with a pull weight you set yourself, anywhere from 2.5 to 5.0 pounds. This is the curved-shoe version. Ballistic Engineering cuts the sear engagement at a 1.75 degree angle and uses its own patented disconnect, which is where the short break and short reset come from.
The internals are tool steel running on 17-4PH stainless bushings. The hammer is nickel-boron coated, the trigger gets a tungsten disulfide dry lubricant, and the housing is anodized 6061 aluminum. It runs a full-power hammer spring, so a light pull does not come at the cost of light primer strikes. The safety works Euro-style: you can put the rifle on safe with the hammer down. Ballistic Engineering backs it with a lifetime transferable warranty.
Heads up: This is not a pure drop-in. The cassette locks against your trigger pins with set screws, and pull weight is set with a screw under the hammer, so plan on a few extra minutes with the included Allen wrench. It is built for AR-15 lowers. If you want to run it in a PCC, confirm compatibility with your PCC’s manufacturer before you buy.
