The 2026 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot has been running at the Corinth Shooting Range in Greece since September 28. The main match finishes Saturday, October 3, and the shoot-off and awards run Sunday, October 4, with doors at 4:30 pm local time, which is 8:30 am Central. That is the window worth paying attention to if you have been waiting for a reason to care about shotgun this fall.
The field is 850 athletes from 44 nations. It is a Level V match, which means every shooter got there through their region’s qualifying process. We covered how Team USA earned its slots and published the roster in January; it is repeated below.
The roster
This is the team USPSA named in January, listed by division.
Open: Varick Beise, Jon Wiedell, Scott Greene, Brian Nelson
Modified: AJ Anthony, Taylor Ohlhausen, Sam Larkin, Konnor Fryburger
Standard: Chuck Lowe, Nate Staskiewicz, Evan Craig, Jeremy Lightner
Standard Manual: Ross Haney, Samuel Rydberg, Evan Nichols, Travis Vogel
Standard Ladies: Becky Yackley, Jalise Williams, Hannah Nichols, Ashlynne Thomas
Open Senior: Keith Garcia, Mike Whitesides, Doniel Leak, Santiago Labos
Beise and Wiedell came into their shooting careers through the Minnesota 3 Gun Group as Juniors, so I will say the obvious: I am watching Open. Beise went in with a perfect 300 qualifying score and has been shooting a strong season on the multigun side, 96.88% of possible across the matches we track on the leaderboard. Wiedell didn’t show up on our leaderboard until Multigun Nationals this summer, but took the Open win there with six of 12 stage wins to boot. AJ Anthony is the other one I expect to hear about; he took the Mini Rifle Open title at the 2025 PCC/Mini Rifle World Shoot and is the top seed on the Modified team.
That’s not to say the rest of Team USA isn’t worth watching. Making this team takes top-three finishes across a six-match qualifier series, then a trip to Greece on your own dime. Every name on the roster earned it. Here is what we have on them, from the qualifier points USPSA published and the leaderboard majors we track.
Open
Beise’s 2026 on our board: three division wins in four majors. Magpul Texas, IWI Battle for the South, and the Generation 3 Gun Championship in September, plus a 2nd at Multigun Nationals, 20 stage wins along the way. Wiedell qualified at 298.66, a hair off perfect, and has the Nationals win. Scott Greene (285.76) and Brian Nelson (279.71) round out the squad; Nelson put up a 6th of 43 in Open at IWI Battle for the South in May.
Modified
Anthony went 300 in the qualifiers, which means he won his division at all three counting matches. On our board this year he won Open at Superstition Mountain outright, 1st of 105 with eight stage wins, and took 2nd in Modified at Nationals. Taylor Ohlhausen (293.47) won Modified at Magpul Texas, 1st of 58, and went 3rd at Nationals; 14 stage wins across three majors. Sam Larkin (277.45) was 4th of 58 in Modified at Magpul Texas. Konnor Fryburger (277.08) hasn’t shot a match we track yet, so we have nothing to add past the points that got him here.
Standard
Chuck Lowe (298.32) won Modified at IWI Battle for the South, 1st of 31, and took seven of ten stages doing it. Nate Staskiewicz (293.66) won Tactical at Multigun Nationals. Evan Craig (282.65) is the freshest result on the board: 1st of 36 in Tac Modified at the Generation 3 Gun Championship three weeks ago. Jeremy Lightner (281.40) qualified without a multigun match in our data.
Standard Manual
Ross Haney is the third 300 on the team. He won Heavy Metal at Superstition Mountain, 1st of 23, eight stage wins and zero penalty seconds across 11 stages, which is the stat I’d frame. Samuel Rydberg qualified at 299.76, about as close to perfect as it gets without the round number. Evan Nichols (268.70) was 5th of 18 in Tactical at Nationals (while running a pump shotgun). Travis Vogel (218.86) ran Heavy at both Superstition Mountain (3rd of 23) and Magpul Texas, and pump-gun shooters know how much work that is.
Standard Ladies
Becky Yackley (244.17) led the ladies qualifying and shot Tactical at Multigun Nationals this summer, 6th of 18 in the overall division, not a ladies bracket. Hannah Nichols (219.67) was in the same Tactical field at Nationals. Jalise Williams (221.27) and Ashlynne Thomas (191.19) qualified on matches outside what we track.
Open Senior
Keith Garcia (266.83) topped the senior qualifying. Doniel Leak (251.64) is the iron man of this group on our board: all four Open majors we tracked this year, Superstition Mountain, Magpul Texas, IWI, and Nationals, with top-ten Open finishes at Texas and IWI. Santiago Labos (225.72) was 19th of 105 in Open at Superstition Mountain. Mike Whitesides (260.56) qualified on matches we don’t have.
How to follow it
Official scores live on the ESS portal at portal.ipscess.org, and you need an ESS account to see them. If you don’t already have one, know that it takes approval from your regional director and is not instant, so it won’t help you this weekend. The match site, 2026sws.worldshoot.org, carries schedule changes and announcements. I have not found a stream of the main match; if the shoot-off gets a feed on Sunday, we will post the link on Instagram.
We will run a full results piece once the final scores post, with the Team USA finishes and the team results by division.
