Description
The Master Gun Workstation is Real Avid’s bench cradle for cleaning, maintenance and optics mounting on long guns. Real Avid states it is the first true gun workstation with one-handed operation. For a 3-Gun shooter cleaning a rifle and shotgun after a match, or a PRS rifleman leveling a new scope, it holds the gun still and square while both hands work.
Real Avid lists a quick-adjustable clamp that sets width and height with one hand, and a Gun Gripper yoke that wraps the barrel or handguard for form-fitting retention. The yoke shuttle offers up to 18.3 in of travel so long rifles and shotguns fit. A leveling knob gives micro-adjustments of up to plus or minus 3 degrees for reticle leveling. Storage is built in: an oil-resistant metal parts tray, magnetized trays for small parts, compartments for chemicals, brushes and jags, and dual cleaning rod storage. Real Avid states the non-slip feet can be clamped or screwed to a workbench. In the box, Real Avid lists the workstation pieces, an Allen wrench with two screws for the trigger clamp assembly, and instructions.
Fitment: Real Avid lists rifles and shotguns of all shapes and sizes, and user reviews on its page mention AR15s and bolt actions. It will NOT include the Smart-Assist work light, magnifier or phone holder; the dock is there, the accessories are separate. Real Avid does not list pistols and publishes no length limit or overall dimensions.

Who should skip it
If your bench is small or you mostly clean one AR, the Master Gun Vise handles the same cleaning job. Shooters who only need to level a reticle can pair any cradle with the Level-Right Pro. Pistol-only shooters should look elsewhere.
