Description
The Masada Slim Elite is IWI’s second pass at its slim compact 9mm, revised from feedback on the original Masada Slim. It keeps the thin profile and the serialized steel trigger housing that lifts out of the frame for cleaning, and adds a new grip module: more aggressive texture, small, medium and large interchangeable backstraps, a raised trigger guard undercut, a flared magazine well and a 1913-style accessory rail sized for lights like the Streamlight TLR-7 Sub.
The barrel is 3.4 inches, button rifled at 1:10, with a longer feed ramp than the original for feeding across ammo types. The slide is cut for the RMSc footprint, so optics like the Holosun 507K and EPS Carry mount direct without a plate, and it ships with a white dot front and a blacked-out rear. The trigger is flat with a blade safety and a positive reset. IWI lists it at 20.3 ounces without a magazine and 23 ounces with the 13-round magazine inserted.
It ships with two steel magazines: a flush 13-round and a 17-round extended. That gives you a carry configuration and a range configuration in the box.

A carry gun for the shooter whose match pistol is a full-size, not a match gun itself. It is a compact 9mm with a direct-mount optic cut, a real rail and a 17-round magazine in the box, at a price that leaves room for the dot.
Who should skip it
If you are shopping for a USPSA, PCSL or Steel Challenge pistol, the 3.4 inch barrel puts it at a disadvantage in every division. If you live in a state with a 10-round limit, IWI makes the same pistol as the M9SLIM10E with two 10-round magazines.
