The Zoo City Armory “BATTLE FOR THE SOUTH” 3-Gun Challenge presented by Vortex will be held at Coleman’s Creek, Ellerbe, NC on May 22-24, 2026. Zoo City Armory continues to provide Major multi gun matches in the south that are fun, equitable and challenging.
The Coleman’s Creek facility offers a variety of stage building opportunities. There will be 10 – 11 exciting natural terrain stages for the match with 5 – 6 stages long range stages from 100 – 700 yards. All long-range targets for the match will be 4-5 MOA. Some stages may require a rifle sling.
The Zoo City Armory ruleset will be in effect.
ABSOLUTLY NO STEEL CORE AMMO ALLOWED
If your preferred squad slot does not look like it is available, we will do our best to accommodate you. If you have a group that would like to squad together, please email Buddy Brown,[email protected] with a list and all match and squadding questions.

Prize table:
The top 35% of each division will be eligible to walk the Awards/Prize Table on Sunday in order of finish in their division. Any division that has less than 5 competitors will not be recognized on the Sunday Awards/Prize table.
